The employer is to ensure there is some one trained to take responsibility for a first aid emergency and the first aid box in accordance with the Health and Safety (First Aid) Regulations.

Course Overview -

This 6-hour course is an outstanding course for people who are working in sports related roles. This includes teachers of sport, coaches of football, tennis, cricket etc. The course satisfies HSE recommendations for Emergency Response First Aid.

It is also an ideal course for those regularly taking part in sport as a recreation.

Aims of the course

Course participants will learn the skills needed to respond to an ill or injured athlete in a low stress positive environment.

Head and Facial Injuries

Although there is a theoretical component to this course it is mainly practical with many opportunities to practice and take part in scenarios (with emphasis on sporting events).

Certification:

This First Aid course is a nationally validated, recognised qualification for 3 years.
